Transfers

Transfer from another University

For the completion of the transfer to the University, the leave form issued by the previous University must be sent to the Student Office via PEC (protocollo@pec.uniss.it) by February 1, 2024.

TRANSFER TO OPEN ACCESS STUDY COURSES

For incoming transfers to open-access study courses, applicants must submit a transfer application to their current University within the established deadlines. The current University will electronically send the leave form to the University of Sassari. The Student Office will then forward a copy to the Course Council, which will deliberate within 30 days of receiving the transfer application, determining whether to recognize the previous academic career partially or fully, validating completed exams and acquired credits, and deciding the year of study to admit the student.

The student will have 15 days to decide whether to accept the deliberation. If accepted, the student must fill out an "enrollment for incoming transfer" form directly on Self Studenti Uniss (see section 2.1.2. REGISTRATION AND ENROLLMENT), providing their information, selecting the desired study course for transfer, and authorizing the University to retrieve their income-related data from the INPS database, necessary for determining the enrollment fees. Access to Self Studenti Uniss requires entering the username and password chosen during enrollment, with the system allowing password recovery if forgotten. Enrollment is completed upon payment of applicable fees and contributions. No reconciliation is allowed with fees and contributions paid to other Universities.

TRANSFER TO PROGRAMMED-ACCESS STUDY COURSES

The available places for subsequent years after the first, for each course and for each academic year, are those vacated due to study abandonment, transfer to another University, or transition to other study courses for the academic year 2023/2024. The University typically publishes the specific announcement with the procedures, deadlines, requirements, and indication of available places in September.

For transfer to these study courses, students from other Universities must still request and obtain a preliminary clearance for transfer. To obtain this clearance, it is necessary for each reference cohort to have available vacant places in relation to those programmed, as specified concerning the available places for the academic year 2022/2023. Interested students must participate in the announcement by submitting an application for the release of the transfer clearance, following the procedures outlined therein and typically published by the University in September. The Student Secretariat and Educational Offer Office will issue the transfer clearance for enrollment. If the received applications exceed the number of available places for each cohort, the designated Commission will compile a ranking based on the criteria indicated in the announcement.

Transfer to Another University

Transfer to Another University

The application for transfer to another University can be made from August 1, 2023, to October 16, 2023. In this case, the student is not required to enroll for the academic year 2023/2024. This deadline can be extended until December 31, 2023, but in this case, the student must enroll for the academic year 2023/2024 and pay the first installment of the enrollment fee.

To submit the transfer application, the interested student must:

- Be in compliance with their administrative status (fees).
- Fill out the appropriate request online directly on their Self Studenti Uniss.
- Submit their university booklet-card to the Student Office (if obtained).

In the case of transfer to another University in courses with programmed access, the nulla osta (clearance) issued by the receiving University must also be attached.

After submitting the transfer application, it is no longer possible to take exams related to the current course of study.

To complete the transfer to another University, payment of the respective contribution is required. For more information, refer to the Student Career Regulations.
