Activate your @phd.uniss.it mailbox The @phd.uniss.it email address is reserved exclusively for those enrolled in PhD courses at the University of Sassari, from the XXXVI Cycle onwards. The associated e-mail box will have a duration of 7 years starting from the date of enrolment of the PhD student in one of the Courses of this University, after which it will be automatically deactivated. It will be the PhD student's responsibility to pay attention to the expiry date and to take care of any saved content and e-mails that he/she does not wish to lose; as a result of the deactivation of the box, its content will be lost. Therefore, at the end of the 7-year period, it will be the PhD student's responsibility to save any content and e-mails that he/she does not wish to lose. The first part of the domain will be identical to that issued at the time of enrolment for students:E.g. m.rossi@/studenti.uniss.it will be equivalent to m.rossi@/phd.uniss.itThe same applies to addresses issued with numbering, which is necessary in cases of homonymy:E.g. m.rossi131@/studenti.uniss.it will be equivalent to m.rossi131@/phd.uniss.itIn these cases an "alias" address may be issued for those who, from time to time, request it from the project's administrative managers. The procedure for activating the phd.uniss.it mailbox is as follows:- go to the page for the activation of the mailbox, and login with the Self Studenti credentials (Username: first part of the email studenti.uniss.it, password: the one chosen by the student after the first login);- select the appropriate function to activate the phd.uniss.it e-mail account and click on the confirmation button;- the PIN code to be used for the first access will be provided on the screen only and, subsequently, you will have to set your own password.- If you do not remember your PIN code, you can reset it by repeating the same procedure.- The mailbox will be accessible through the Google GMAIL service.
