CILS - Certification of Italian as a foreign language

To the attention of candidates for the CILS A2 INTEGRATION IN ITALY certification who enroll in the exam in Italy solely for the purpose of fulfilling legal requirements regarding the language proficiency requirement for obtaining the EU long-term residence permit.

Please be informed that, starting from January 1, 2024, all institutions affiliated with the CLIQ Association have adopted specific procedures in the event of verified illiteracy among candidates covered by this notice.

In order to receive all relevant information, candidates are invited to physically visit a CILS Exam Center located in Italy before registering for the CILS A2 INTEGRATION IN ITALY certification.

It is emphasized that the specific procedures in the event of illiteracy can only be explained by the authorized Exam Centers to those candidates who directly request it by presenting themselves in person at the Centers; this means that any requests received via email or phone cannot be processed.

RECEPTION HOURS OF THE UNIVERSITY LANGUAGE CENTER (via M. Zanfarino 53 - Sassari): Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

To register for the exam on July 18, 2024, at the University of Sassari:

1. Submit the registration request for the exam at the University of Sassari via email, along with a scanned copy of your ID (front/back) and the proof of payment of the exam fee, to esamicils@uniss.it, by 12:00 PM on June 18, 2024. Please fill out the registration form in clear print.

2. Payment of the exam fee must be made via bank transfer (CANDIDATES MUST INDICATE THE FOLLOWING REASON FOR PAYMENT):

RESULTS OF EVALUATIONS AND CERTIFICATES

Candidates are reminded that the evaluation results will be available within 3 months from the exam date, on the online results page from which a summary document can be downloaded and printed for self-certification purposes.

An exception is made for the A2 Integration in Italy and B1 QCER Citizenship levels, for which the results will be available within 45 working days.
