Supplementary Health Service for Out-of-Town Students

The University of Sassari, in agreement with the Regional Authority for the Right to Education and the University Hospital, has activated since 2005 a Health Service for non-resident university students in Sassari, with the aim of prevention and health education. The service includes the following activities:

- Ensuring free access to basic health care services for "non-resident" students through outpatient visits or prescriptions for medications and/or specialist services within the National Health Service.
- Issuing certificates of fitness for sports activities and communal living, prescribing specialist visits, and prescribing medications on white prescriptions. Specifically for certificates issued for non-competitive sports activities organized by the CUS, students will pay an additional €5.00, with the issuance of a receipt by the physician.
