25-26/09 - Stand of scientific partners

Each partner of Sharper Sassari manages a stand with scientific exhibitions, workshops and other activities to involve the public and approach it to research and science.

september 25 (morning): students will be involved in an immersive and interactive experience that combines art, science and technology. Participants will be able to discover how intelligent sculptures are designed, explore 3D models created with 3D printing and augmented reality. 

september 26 (morning): exploratory activities will be proposed on how visual arts interact with technology. Students will be able to experience short experiences in VR linked to visual perception, observe and try prototypes made with Arduino and sensors, and understand the principles behind artificial generative intelligence applied to art. Projects related to PNRR Meta & Motion Performing and City Open Museum will be shown.

september 26 (evening): the public will be able to explore the most spectacular side of artistic research. VR viewers will be presented with immersive environments, an interactive plastic with sensors and objects created via 3D printing. It will be possible to observe the operation of responsive installations that react to the presence of people and dialogue with researchers on IA, art and perception.

25/09 morning:  
- The CNR - IAS in collaboration with association "Mar. eco Observatory of Nature" proposes short interactive seminars entitled The sea revealed , designed to sensitize the public, with particular attention to the younger generations on the main environmental problems affecting the marine environment. The sea revealed, will deal with two very topical issues strictly connected to the state of health of the marine ecosystems and the species that inhabit them: climate change and the effects of submarine noise pollution. 
- Insects and their sustainable management : The CNR-ARET it will show students how nature offers solutions to combat insects harmful to agricultural productions, thus allowing to reduce or avoid the use of chemical insecticides and safeguarding the health of man and planet. The demonstration activities proposed are two: 1) a predatory insect that feeds on a harmful insect and 2) a parasitoid insect that lays its eggs inside the eggs of a harmful insect. The protagonists of the activities will be shown to students and presented orally and through the help of a poster, in a concise, simple and stimulating way. 
- Natural and hydrogen substances : Two solutions for the planet. The CNR-ICB it will present simple and intuitive activities. 1) Perfumes and molecules: nature teaches hydrogen chemistry: the invisible and clean fuel that saves the planet. Each demonstration will be supported by an explanatory poster that will explain the concepts in a simple and fun way. The children will participate in practical activities to touch what they have just discovered.

26/09 morning : 
- The CNR ISPA-Ispam-Ibe with the activity Sardinia, an island to discover it will propose an activity that brings together the study of the plants of Sardinian biodiversity and the study of the beneficial effects of the extracts obtained. Specifically, we will make known the plants on our island, rich in polyphenols that show an anticancer and/or antioxidant activity, guiding them step by step and making them learn simple extraction techniques and chemical/electrochemical essays. In addition, methodologies and tools for the sustainable management of ecosystems will be presented, including: environmental monitoring tools; Fire risk simulation models; Methodologies for the protection of biodiversity in ecosystems subjected to anthropic pressure. 
- The CNR-IRGB with the activity from the name Oncological prevention , uses movies, posters and playful questionnaires to sensitize healthy lifestyles and correct diet. Particular attention will be paid to skin melanoma, with a simple demonstration of diagnostic procedures. 

26/09 evening:  
A path of scientific dissemination will be presented to bring the public closer to research and sustainability through practical and engaging experiences. Planet. The researchers of CNR-ICB they will illustrate their research activities for the health and well -being of man, green chemistry and sustainability, nature and environment. The public will discover together with researchers such as chemistry, inspired by nature, manages to transform its ideas into useful solutions for our health and well -being and how green hydrogen, produced using renewable energies, can contribute to the creation of a sustainable future. The CNR-IRGB , with the activity relating to oncological prevention will aim to raise awareness of healthy lifestyles and correct diet, with a focus on skin melanoma and the demonstration of diagnostic procedures. the laboratory wants to investigate the evolutionary history of life on earth through DNA, trying to understand similarities and diversity among the genetic codes of individuals of different species.

A series of interactive games will lead us to discover the enigmatic and fascinating world of DNA, to try to better understand who we are, where we come from and what is the common legacy of all life forms that have lived and live on our planet.

Sparks of Heaven

Between sparks and stars, experience becomes poetry: science becomes a story, and every discovery a small revelation.

There is a time when the subject wakes up. An electricity beat, a whale that runs along a thread: science comes to life in the invisible game of forces. Around us, what seemed inert ignites, vibrates, reacts. It is the language of matter, made of charges, impulses, transformations. Then, just look up. Galileo tends his eye to heaven, Kepler decipher his harmony. The light, which before illuminated, now tells. Passing among the lenses, it bends, draws, reveals distant worlds. Telescopes become bridges, and we travel with them.

Izs Sardegna informs students about the strategies to be used for safe nutrition.

Demonstration/experiment of control activities that lead to food safety in our workshops. 

The goal is to provide young useful and safe information on correct conservation, manipulation and consumption of food practices, with a particular focus on some food risks such as botulism.

The "N. Pellegrini" Agricultural Technological Institute of Sassari presents a set of activities and tools that represent the evolution of technologies applied to the agricultural sector. Visitors will be able to observe a functioning model of hydroponic cultivation up close, discover the use of drones for monitoring agricultural land and experimenting with the viewers can make teaching more inclusive and immersive. Precision agriculture sensors and tools will also be shown to optimize resources, reduce waste and improve the sustainability of productions. Finally, through microscopy, it will be possible to explore the world of plant and animal cells, bringing participants closer to the scientific bases that support research in the agri -food field. The stand wants to offer an interactive and engaging experience, showing how agricultural training integrates with technological innovation to build the future of the sector.

Discovering the senses: recognizing and describing smells and flavors 

An interactive experience that combines tasting, memory and language, promoting awareness and sociality. 
The activity is a sensory path that invites participants to explore and recognize smells and flavors through practical tests and moments of comparison. Through the use of essences, spices and basic foods, the ability to perceive, distinguish and describe olfactory and gustatory sensations is experienced. 
 

In collaboration with the CSI Sassari, it is introduced to the training and educational value of the structured board game, intended as a multimodal text capable of communicating psychological well -being, promoting Life Skills and Steam skills. 

The Game Science recognizes modern table games as an object of study, as they are complex communication systems, through which it is possible to educate the complexity of human, social, economic and environmental relationships in which we live.

The local police command of Sassari will be present with a stand dedicated to the on the road project, for the contrast of the incidentality related to alcohol and drugs. 

The agents will confront girls and boys, using a suitable language, used videos and viewers they worn simulate a state of psycho-physical alteration.
