Available Software for University Computer Workstations

The University of Sassari has joined the CRUI-Microsoft agreement called MS CASA-EES (Campus Agreement School Agreement – Education Solution)/CRUI. This agreement, established between CRUI and Microsoft, allows all University units, both administrative and educational, to access licenses for the installation and upgrade of Microsoft programs.

Specifically, the following products can be obtained at no additional cost:

• Windows client upgrade, for updating Windows operating systems (PCs must already have a Windows license of any type).
• Microsoft Office Professional Plus / Office for Mac.
• Microsoft Core CAL Suite (Includes Windows Server Standard CAL, Exchange Server Standard CAL, Microsoft SharePoint® Server Standard CAL, Lync Server Standard CAL, and System Center Configuration Manager CAL) with antivirus System Center Endpoint Protection.

These products can be installed or upgraded to the latest released version.

Entourage of the University of Sassari, including faculty, administrative staff, and students, can take advantage of this opportunity. This extends to all university facilities, encompassing workstations in offices, libraries, laboratories, and classrooms.
