The European University Alliance EUNICoast The EUNICoast alliance is composed of 12 universities located in coastal and island areas stretching from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea, including the Mediterranean, Atlantic, Caribbean, and the borders of the Arctic Ocean.EUNICoast's main objectives are:To educate the next generation of aware European students and citizensTo foster a multicultural, multilingual, and inclusive European environment for education, research, and innovationTo enhance the partner universities' ability to address the specific social and environmental challenges faced by island and coastal communities, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, depopulation, migration, and the need for economic diversificationThe alliance aims to develop innovative educational pathways closely linked to research and local territories.As part of EUNICoast, UNISS will coordinate public engagement and internationalization activities.
