Partial Renewal of the CUN - Elections 2023

By Ministerial Order No. 1321 of December 2, 2022, elections have been called for the period between March 29 and April 5, 2023, for the selection of members of the National University Council (CUN) representing the following scientific-disciplinary areas: 03, 05, 07, 09, 10, 12, and 13.

For each of the aforementioned areas, the following will be elected:

1 Full Professor;1 Associate Professor;1 Researcher.

During the same period, voting will also take place for the election of:

1 Full Professor in the scientific-disciplinary area 06;1 Researcher in the scientific-disciplinary area 01;1 Researcher in the scientific-disciplinary area 08;3 representatives of technical and administrative staff of universities.

Voting will be conducted remotely via online means and will take place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on each weekday, excluding Saturdays. On April 5, 2023, voting operations will conclude at 2:00 PM.

Candidates must submit their candidacy declarations, formalized according to the templates attached to the Ministerial Order, signed by the candidates themselves and authenticated by the Rector, General Director, or their delegates. Submissions can be made from February 27 to March 7, 2023, at the Central Administration Office, details of which will be communicated later to the voters.

Each voter may cast only one vote, accessing, on the specified days and times, the designated website under the VOTING section, "Link to the voting portal" on this site, using their Internet-enabled device and a web browser with Javascript support.

Access to the platform will require authentication through the Public Digital Identity System (SPID), configured at level 2.

Instructions on accessing the online platform and casting votes will be made available on the aforementioned site.

Only one preference can be expressed. The vote is personal, free, and confidential, and the voter, considering the remote voting method, is directly responsible for adhering to these principles.

Personnel suspended from service following a criminal or disciplinary proceeding, or those under precautionary suspension pending a criminal or disciplinary proceeding, are not eligible for active or passive suffrage.
