Founder and Director of LaPArS - Laboratory of Prehistory and Experimental Archaeology (http://www.lapars.it/). Director of the digital series ‘Quaderni del LaPArS’ (http://www.lapars.it/it/pubblicazioni)

Member of the international scientific commission UISPP (Union Internationale des Sciences Préhistoriques et Protohistoriques) ‘Neolithic Civilizations of the Mediterranean and Europe’.

Main areas of research: Prehistory and Protohistory of the Western Mediterranean; Archaeology of island environments; Recent prehistory of Sardinia (chronology, transformation of raw materials, settlements, cultic and funerary practices, man and the natural environment, contacts and exchanges in the Mediterranean); Research and development, since 2010, of integrated archaeological field documentation systems with the use of APRs (Remotely Piloted Aircraft).

Coordinator of numerous research projects in collaboration with university institutions, research institutes and local authorities, nationally and internationally.
