The collections

The Botanical Garden of the University of Sassari is a museum institution where plants, considered living documents, and collections of plants or parts of dried plants (herbarium, xylotheque) reside.

These are arranged according to a biosystematic order with the aim of supporting scientific research, education, the conservation of biodiversity, and educational outreach on the biodiversity and flora of Sardinia.
