Educational goals The specific training objective for graduates of the course is the acquisition of a solid cultural background in the field of education sciences thanks to in-depth study of pedagogical, psychological, philosophical, and socio-anthropological disciplines. These multidisciplinary skills and knowledge are essential both for entry into the world of work and for the attendance of master's degrees. Further specific training objectives are: - the achievement of theoretical competencies and operational competencies for the understanding and analysis of socio-cultural contexts, which is realised thanks to the teachings of anthropological-social, historical, economic and social geography disciplines, foreign languages, and contemporary multimedia languages - the acquisition of skills related to the educator's field of activity, which is developed with the specialised teaching of educational sciences and with compulsory curricular internships at educational and training institutions and bodies, companies, and public administration structures, and may also include stays at other Italian and foreign universities, also within the framework of international agreements. The final examination is also related to fieldwork. The teaching methodology used in under graduate courses will be mainly linked to classroom activities (also with the support of multimedia, interactive, and web-based tools), which may take the form of frontal communication, in-depth study of problematic issues (group activities, exercises, and workshops), reading and comparison with sources, documents, original texts, tables, repertories, case studies, etc., also through the use of new web-based multimedia technologies. Study seminars and in-depth thematic seminars will also be held, also with the support of external experts, as well as internship activities, aimed at learning and perfecting professional skills. The acquisition of theoretical skills takes place mainly in the first and second years, while specialised teaching is entrusted to the second and third years. Theoretical reflection activities on professional outlets take place on various occasions during the three-year period, while field experience through the internship is entrusted to the second and/or third year. The thesis concludes the L-19 itinerary but is preceded by activities on bibliography collection and research techniques treated as integrative aspects of various disciplines and also as part of teaching aimed at the acquisition of research methodology in education.
