PhD Course Coordinator: Prof. Margherita Maioli

Margherita Maioli is Full Professor of Cell and Applied Biology (BIOS-10/A), Department of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sassari.  She is Coordinator of the PhD Course in Medical, Surgical and Experimental Sciences. She currently serves as President of the Degree Course in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, Scientific Coordinator of the Department of Regenerative Medicine IRF (Rinaldi Fontani Institute) and IRF-Shangai. She is a Visiting Scientist at the Second Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, Prague and Fundação Universidade Federal Do Amapá (University of the Federal Republic of Brazil). She is Academic editor and referee for several international indexed scientific journals. Research activities concern molecular mechanisms regulating stem cell growth and differentiation and somatic cell reprogramming.
