UNISS at Work Package 5 23 July 2025 The University of the Antilles, in France, organized the first in-person meeting of the Commission of Work Package 5, an internal working group of the Alliance related to the internationalization of the EUNICoast The European Alliance of Islands, ports and coastal territories project. Each Partner of the EUNICoast Alliance, consisting of 12 universities located in coastal, island and port areas, sent a representative of the Work Package 5 Commission to Guadeloupe, home of the University of the Antilles, for the implementation of a Plan for the Internationalization of EUNICoast. This is a fundamental step to become more and more a fully inclusive European University and a promoter of international cooperation, including with non-EU countries, and a promoter of international mobility in the Alliance's partner countries. The University of the Antilles welcomed 14 members of the Work Package 5 Commission on Internationalization to its premises and hosted, through virtual meetings during the sessions, colleagues from other European universities who are experts in topics such as "Internationalization at Home" and on possible collaborations between different European universities, to strengthen the structure of the EUNICoast Internationalization Plan. The working group on Internationalization is closely connected to the working groups related to teaching, research, and community engagement, which guide the alliance in achieving the main goals dear to all universities in Europe. The EUNICoast Internationalization Plan is to be subsequently approved by the board of Vice-Rectors for Internationalization of the Alliance itself and will provide the guidelines on how all the internationalization-related goals set in the EUNICoast grant agreement will be developed. To contact the UNISS Team of EUNICoast: eunicoast@uniss.itWeb Page EUNICoast https://eunicoast.eu/
