Uniss Professor Giovanni Sotgiu in the Superior Health Council

Giovanni Sotgiu, full professor of Medical Statistics and Epidemiology at the University of Sassari, has been appointed member of the Higher Health Council, the technical-scientific body that supports the Ministry of Health. Sotgiu, from Sassari, is the only Sardinian among the 30 experts appointed by Minister Orazio Schillaci, recently a guest of the University of Sassari at the inauguration ceremony of the 463rd Academic Year. Until June 2024, Professor Sotgiu was President of the coordination structure of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
