SASSARI. On Wednesday 27 November from 10.00 to 12.30 in the Aula Magna of the University of Sassari, the presentation of the project "PRISMA (Promoting Individual and Social Resources in the Academic World - University for Wellbeing)" will be held. Our University is a partner of a network of eight Italian universities - the Universities of Ferrara, Venice, Modena and Reggio Emilia, Genoa, Parma, the Polytechnic of Milan and the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart - and an AFAM (the Academy of Belle Arti di Venezia), established as part of the PRO-BEN call (MUR Notice 1159). The objective is to promote the psychophysical well-being of the student population.

The actions envisaged by the PRISMA project concern the qualitative and quantitative survey of the well-being and lifestyles of students; the identification and adoption of specific tools aimed at expanding and optimizing the SCPA (university psychological counseling services), also through the inter-University/AFAM exchange and training of specialists; sporting activities, in collaboration with the CUS; awareness and training initiatives, including a program of seminars and thematic days aimed at students, teaching and administrative technical staff.

In our University, all actions will be carried out in collaboration with the Counseling and Psychological Support Service, which since its establishment has always been interested in and aimed at promoting individual and social resources capable of improving the quality of life of the student community. The management aspects of the project will be handled by DUMAS, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, in collaboration with the central offices of our University, in particular the Orientation and Student Services Office.

The morning of November 27th marks the beginning of this University project.

The event will open with greetings from the Magnificent Rector Gavino Mariotti, Lucia Cardone (Director of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences), Paola Rappelli (Delegate of the Rector for orientation), Angela Quaquero (President of the Order of Psychologists and of the Psychologists of Sardinia), Daniele Maoddi (President of the ERSU of Sassari) and Graziella Benedetto (President of the Single Committee of Warranty).

Speakers will then include Patrizia Patrizi (Rector's Delegate for well-being and scientific manager of the project) and Ernesto Lodi (Research, monitoring and evaluation coordinator of the Counseling Service), Nicola Giordanelli (President of the CUS of Sassari), Antonio Michele Bilotta (President of the Council of Students), Marco Marongiu (member of the TA Staff Council), Nicoletta Pinna (Representative of doctoral students and postgraduates in the Academic Senate).
