Two UNISS teachers appointed "Florence Ambassadors"

There are also two professors from the University of Sassari awarded among the 14 new "Florence Ambassadors" who have distinguished themselves for having brought prestige to the city of Florence in the world through the organization of international conferences. They are Nicolò Pietro Macciotta, full professor of General Zootechnics and Genetic Improvement at the Department of Agriculture, and Sergio Solinas, researcher of the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Sassari.

The awards were conferred during a ceremony that took place in recent days in the sumptuous Salone dei Cinquecento of Palazzo Vecchio.

The event was promoted by the Municipality of Florence in collaboration with the Destination Florence Foundation and Firenze Fiera, with the support for this edition of the Triumph Group.
