University Orientation Days 2025

The University of Sassari opens its doors to students 
 

The University of Sassari organized its University Orientation Days on April 3rd and 4th, 2025, at the Piandanna teaching complex (Botanical Garden), located at Via Piandanna 4 in Sassari.
The event, aimed at high school students from across Sardinia, offered a unique opportunity to explore the University's wide range of academic programs and receive concrete support in choosing their academic future.

With the slogan “Every path begins with a choice,” the Orientation Days welcomed the participation of faculty members and students as they explored the 10 departments of the University of Sassari and their respective degree programs. Significant attention was also given to information stands on student services and meetings dedicated to each academic pathway.
Students also had the chance to visit the stands of ERSU (Regional Agency for University Student Services), the “M. Sironi” Academy of Fine Arts, the “L. Canepa” Conservatory of Music, the Municipality of Sassari, and other institutions and organizations.

The event featured a rich program of hands-on activities, seminars, and workshops, including:

• Scientific and laboratory activities such as “Chemistry Experiments,” “Change Your Perspective: The Plant World Under the Microscope,” and “Nursing and Digital Transformation.”
• Presentations of degree programs, with a focus on fields such as Medicine and Veterinary Science, Engineering, Education Sciences, Pharmacy, Humanities, Natural Sciences, and many more.
• Thematic seminars, including “Medicine: From Anatomy to Robotics and AI,” “Batteries Are a Goldmine: The Challenge of Recycling in the Energy Transition,” and “The Pirandello Project: From the First Manuscripts to the Digital Edition.”
• Preparation activities for restricted-access courses and university orientation sessions.

The Orientation Days were an unmissable opportunity to connect with those who have already embarked on their university journey and to gain practical advice for making an informed and conscious decision.
