University Sports Celebration 2023

The University Sports Celebration 2023, which will exceptionally take place in 2024, will be celebrated on Thursday, January 25th, starting from 5:30 pm at the University sports facilities in San Giovanni, Sassari.

A well-established event over time, this occasion will bring together those who have participated in various activities offered by the CUS at both the local and national levels, often achieving significant results.

Nicola Giordanelli, President of CUS Sassari, Turritan University Rector Gavino Mariotti, academic, civic, and sports authorities from the region will award all the protagonists of the university sports season with medals from the National University Championships in Camerino. The winners of various tournaments organized by the Sassari University Center, including futsal, padel, 11-a-side football, and basketball within the Coppa Uniss circuit, will also be honored. All tournaments have consistently attracted a significant number of participants, involving numerous students from the University of Sassari.

During the University Sports Celebration 2023, President Giordanelli will deliver a brief overview of the activities of the past calendar year and present the upcoming season, which promises to be full of surprises.
