The University of Sassari and the Italian Dyslexia Association (AID) are organizing a conference on Saturday, February 24th, starting at 9:30 am, in the main auditorium of the university in Piazza Università, on "Inclusive education and operational tools in the university path".

The conference is based on the project "Learning democracy: the University for inclusion" promoted by AID with the aim of supporting, through training actions aimed at professors, staff, and tutors, the university path of students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), ensuring tools, sharing strategies, and resources to promote educational success.

The actions aimed at achieving these objectives include, as in this case, the organization of informative conferences and the promotion of training activities for professors, tutors, and staff.

After the institutional greetings from the Rector, Prof. Gavino Mariotti, the General Director of the University of Sassari, Dr. Giovanni Maria Soro, and Prof. Giovanni Pruneddu, the Rector's Delegate for the issues of disabled students and those with SLD, will speak Professor Gabriella Bottini from the University of Pavia, Professor Eraldo Paulesu from the University of Milano Bicocca, Dr. Enrica Bianchi, vice president of AID, and Professor Barbara Urdanch, AID trainer and Project Manager for the University. The conference will be moderated by Professor Stefano Sotgiu from the University of Sassari.

The conference will be open to university professors and teachers from all levels of education. Free admission, subject to availability of seats.
