Study by the University of Sassari on the relationship between AI and human sciences

Thanks to the Next Generation EU - DM737/2021 funds, a group of scholars from the DISSUF department (History, Human Sciences and Education) has carried out a project entitled "The Humanities in the era of man-machine fusion" over the last three years. With these funds, numerous participant missions and conferences were financed, including an international one held in Alghero in September 2024. 
Recently the coordinator of the project, Professor Guido Seddone, published his research in the prestigious journal Nature by Springer, in the journal AI&Society with a contribution entitled " LLM and the increasing role of the humanities in the digital age". The contribution investigates the growing role of the humanistic disciplines in the era of the algorithm understood as a tool for critical analysis of knowledge and technology.
