The start of free English language courses by the CLA - INTER.M.O.F. 2.0 Project - EnglishClaSS 2.0
Applications are now open for participation in the Call for Free English Language Courses organized by the University Language Center within the framework of the specificities of the INTER.M.O.F. 2.0 PR SARDEGNA FSE+ 2021-2027 Project.
- Eligible participants include regularly enrolled students at the University of Sassari, whether currently enrolled or not, research doctoral students, and international students.
- The courses will last for 80 hours and will be conducted remotely, with 2-hour lessons twice a week.
- Classes will be organized for different levels of English proficiency (A1-A2-B1-B2), and the first year of courses is expected to commence in September 2024.
- Attendance will be mandatory for 70% of the lesson hours (56 hours - 28 lessons).
- A mandatory online language proficiency test will be administered via the e-learning platform for class formation.
- Activities will be structured over two years, and students selected in the first round may participate in an additional free course with an increasing level of English proficiency, with priority given to those who have not previously attended any course.
- Upon completion of the courses, a certificate of achievement will be issued with a thirty-point grading scale, indication of the achieved CEFR level, and allocation of 6 ECTS credits, which may be recognized upon request to the Council of one's Study Course.
