Prof. Francesco Spanedda in the Todde Team 9 April 2024 Professor Francesco Spanedda is the new Councilor for Local Authorities and Urban Planning of the Sardinia Region in the council led by Alessandra Todde.Francesco Spanedda, architect, has been an associate professor in Architectural and Urban Composition since 2020 at the Department of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning of the University of Sassari.Graduated in Architecture in 1992 at the IUAV in Venice with a thesis on "Wind power plant and park in Monte Arci (supervisor Prof. Vittorio Gregotti), he has worked in Italy and abroad taking on direct assignments, participating in open and invited competitions. In 2005 he began his research activity, at the then Faculty of Architecture based in Alghero, in the field of the relationship between architectural and urban design and sustainability.The university's best wishes go to Prof. Spanedda for his new, prestigious role.
