The Nursing course at Mater Olbia officially starts

Olbia. The Magnificent Rector of the University of Sassari, Gavino Mariotti, this morning welcomed the 50 male and female students enrolled in the three-year degree course in Nursing at the University of Olbia. Recently renovated, the headquarters is located in the hospital area of ​​Mater Olbia (but with a separate entrance), has 3 classrooms and a lecture hall. The official inauguration will be held in mid-November, but despite being an informal greeting that took place during the first lesson, this morning's meeting was very significant.

The Mayor of Olbia Settimo Nizzi underlined how the entire city, a decidedly growing centre, is ready to expand the offer of services - including housing - for students who come from different areas of Sardinia, not only from Gallura. The CEO of the Mater Olbia hospital, Marcello Giannico, declared that the figure of the nurse will acquire more and more responsibility and importance. The Rector Gavino Mariotti highlighted the merit of the students, who had to pass a tough selection process to be there. Also present for the University of Sassari were the president of the liaison structure of the Faculty of Medicine, Corrado Rubino, and Professor Franca Deriu. Also present was the president of UniOlbia Aldo Carta.
