EUNICoast is an Alliance of European Universities that brings together 12 higher education institutions across Europe, with the aim of strengthening cooperation in education, research and innovation. 
The Alliance is committed to building a common academic and cultural space where students, staff and researchers can collaborate, share knowledge and create new opportunities on a European scale. 
With this in mind, EUNICoast also invests in student life and communication, to ensure that students are not only informed about available opportunities, but also actively involved in building the Alliance's identity.

Objective of the internship

The selected person will support EUNICoast's communication strategy with particular attention to students, especially through social media (particularly Instagram) and events dedicated to the student community. 
The goal is to increase the visibility of the Alliance among peers, strengthen student involvement and propose new and creative ideas. 
This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for managing online communities, wants to connect with young audiences, and is motivated to contribute creatively to student activities, both online and in person.

Main responsibilities

  1. Social Media – Community management and content creation
    • Contribute to the editorial calendar and propose creative content ideas
    • Create and schedule engaging posts on Instagram
    • Cover student events (photos, short videos, interviews)
    • Monitor performance and suggest improvements based on engagement metrics
  2. Communication between students and events
    • Organize or co-organize activities dedicated to students at the Université du Havre Normandie (games, information sessions, meetings...)
    • Support online events aimed at students of Alliance partner universities
    • Collect and share testimonies from students involved in EUNICoast mobility projects or programmes
    • Participate in awareness campaigns to promote Alliance opportunities
  3. Occasional support
    • Assist in the logistics of communication activities and campaigns
    • Contribute to the EUNICoast newsletter with content aimed at students

Candidate profile

  • Student currently enrolled in a communications, marketing or event management course
  • Excellent knowledge of social platforms and strong interest in community management
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) – French optional
  • Creative, dynamic and motivated to propose new ideas
  • Organised, reliable and proactive
  • Interest in student life, European cooperation and teamwork
