Conclusione semestre filtro_esami_Uniss

SASSARI. The future starts here. The final exam of the so-called "filter semester", which replaced the entrance test for the degree courses in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics and Veterinary Medicine, experienced its most significant turning point today.

There are 692 (out of 735 enrolled) girls and boys who took the final exam this morning at the University of Sassari, divided according to their date of birth: the Faculty of Medicine in viale San Pietro, the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences in via Roma, the Department of Law in Viale Mancini, the Department of Chemical, Physical, Mathematical and Natural Sciences in Via Vienna, the teaching building of the Department of Agriculture in Viale Italia and the complex of via Piandanna, home of the Botanical Garden, have made their largest classrooms available to host an inside or outside test, coordinated with a significant organizational effort by the University's teaching area

But compared to the past, the aspiring white coats took this exam after having followed a first semester of lessons, the "filter semester": Chemistry and preparatory biochemistry, Physics and Biology for a total of 225 hours in total (equal to 18 CFU) are the courses that started on 1 September in the new spaces of the teaching center in via Piandanna.

There will be a new appeal on December 10th, again at 11.00.

The rules of the exam

The final tests of the three courses all take place on the same day; each test, lasting 45 minutes, includes 31 questions, 16 complete and 15 multiple choice. To access the national ranking you need a score of at least 18/30. The rankings are constructed based on exam scores. Those who have available places can enroll in the second semester of the chosen course. The national rankings for entering Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine will be published in January on Universitaly. it; in February the rankings for similar courses will be published (i. e. Alternative courses, chosen by the student at the time of enrolment, identified within the degree classes indicated by the Ministry).
