The conference will be an opportunity

1. To present the findings of the PRIN GEA research – "Gendering Academia," published in the book edited by Naldini M., Poggio B., *Genere e Accademia. Carriere, culture e politiche*, Il Mulino, Bologna, 2023. The research, which addressed gender asymmetries in Italian academia and suggested a project to rethink policies, was carried out by the lead institution UniTorino, together with the Universities of Sassari, Trento, and Palermo. Some of the scholars who made the research possible will speak, starting with PI Manuela Naldini (with Paola Villa, Maria Luigia Segnana, Monia Anzivino, Laura Azzolina, Daniela Pisu)

2. To remember Elisabetta Addis, the person, the scholar, the feminist economist who passed away prematurely in July 2020, who studied gender inequalities from the critical review of concepts such as excellence and merit. Scholars who knew and esteemed her (Luigi Guiso, Giuliana Giuseppina Carboni, Bianca Biagi, Maria Luisa Serra) will speak; the remembrance of her brother, Francesco Addis, along with other testimonies, will follow.
