The University of Sassari rewards its brightest graduates University Main Hall, Piazza Università 21 16 May 2024 15:00 With the aim of recognizing academic merit, the University of Sassari has allocated €120,000 to reward the best graduates of each course and the most outstanding graduate of the academic years 2019/2020, 2020/2021, and 2021/2022.The selection of awardees was made through a rigorous analysis of data concerning the 4,322 ongoing graduates. Those chosen demonstrated exceptional performance, adhering to criteria such as study duration, grade point average, and age.In total, 258 prizes worth €450 each were awarded to the most deserving graduates of each academic year. Additionally, the top graduates of all three years received a special prize of €1,000, determined by the difference between their personal weighted average and that of the graduates during the same period and course of study.Specifically, the prizes for the best graduate were awarded to three women: Elena Frogheri from the Bachelor's degree program in Economics and Management for the academic year 2019/2020, Alessia Padre from the Bachelor's degree program in Tourism Economics and Management for the academic year 2020/2021, and Eleonora Murtas from the Bachelor's degree program in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation for the academic year 2021/2022.
