Start Cup Sardinia 2024 Final

The final of the 2024 edition will feature 9 ideas and teams from across the island, competing for the prizes at stake and the opportunity to represent Sardinia in the national phase.

Start Cup Sardinia 2024 (SCS2024) is the 17th edition of the competition for innovative business ideas to be developed in Sardinia. It is part of the National Innovation Award and is organized by the University of Sassari and Cagliari, in collaboration with Innois, with contributions and participation from various local entities.

The event begins at 2:45 PM and, after the opening remarks, the schedule includes:

First Pitching Session: Presentation of the first 5 ideas.

Discussion: “Beyond the Horizon: Investing in Technologies That Shape the Future,” exploring investment opportunities in emerging technologies with experts in key sectors such as fintech and aerospace.

Second Pitching Session: Presentation of the final 4 ideas.

Workshop: "National and Regional Innovation Perspectives: 2024 Results and 2025 Outlook," offering an overview of the challenges and opportunities for innovation at the regional and national levels.

Winners Announcement and Award Ceremony.

The 2024 Start Cup Final will be hosted as part of the activities of Connessioni Future, an event designed to bring together the regional and national innovation ecosystem, stimulating dialogue between all the actors involved: startup founders, entrepreneurs, enthusiasts, institutions, stakeholders, and local and national policymakers.

The full-day event will feature several sessions and moments. In the morning, the schedule includes:

• 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Various workshops focused on explaining and deepening the use of new technologies and developing entrepreneurial skills.
• 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Italian Innovation Roadshow, organized in collaboration with InnovUp. This traveling format brings data, models, and best practices to the region, fostering collaboration between startups and businesses, with a special focus on Open Innovation and Corporate Venture Capital, involving local communities in the innovation ecosystem.
