Plots of nature and history. A journey through plants and ancient stones

Botanical garden of the University of Sassari - Via Piandanna (Sassari)
17:00

The University of Sassari, also for 2025, renews his participation in the project Sharper - Sharing Researchers ’Passion for Enhanced Roadmaps , coordinated by the third mission and territory office and active in 15 Italian cities.

The program offers numerous initiatives dedicated to scientific dissemination, with the aim of bringing citizenship closer to research and scientific culture. Among the most suggestive events, the immersive experience stands out at Botanical garden , where science, nature and history intertwine in an engaging path.

Thursday 25 September , starting from 17:00, it will be possible to participate in a guided tour of the Botanical Garden. Participants will be accompanied to discover plant biodiversity, exploring the structure of plants through direct observation and use of the microscope. An opportunity to understand the fundamental role of botany in the contemporary world.

The path is enriched with a fascinating journey through time, thanks to the presence of the ancient canalization works dating back to the Roman era, historical testimony of great value.

With Luisa Carta, curator of the Botanical Garden, Paola Ruggeri and Alberto Gavini, archaeologists of the Dip. Sciences of man and training, Maria Franca Usai, Dip. Sciences CC. FF. MM. NN.
