Disinformation and migration. Hybrid threats to national security

The theme of migration meets that of disinformation in at least two different contexts in the "cognitive war" against European liberal democracies.  On the one hand, in fact, disinformation can operate within the information channel intended for the individual who decides to undertake a journey in order to arrive - without a legal title - in the territory of other States; on the other hand, it can be relevant with regard to the individual of the state of arrival (whether final or transit) of the migrant who is called upon to evaluate, also for political and electoral purposes, the migratory phenomenon that affects his own country, regardless of the cognitive model that develops in the information and decision-making process.
