Guest of DADU thanks to the visiting professor program, Andrea Resmini, together with Nicolò Ceccarelli, leads a design educational workshop as part of the integrated Culture of Design laboratory for the 1st year of the Bachelor's Degree in Design.

 

Andrea Resmini

A compulsive reader, reflective writer, propulsive pianist, architect and designer, Andrea Resmini is an Associate Professor of Experience Design and Information Architecture at the Department of Intelligent and Digital Systems, Halmstad University, Sweden. He is interested in space, embodiment, and place-making in hybrid spaces, and teaches IA and UX for AI, XR, and digital/physical environments. At the Games, Arts, Media, Experience Research Group (GAME), University of Skövde, Sweden, he researches games as a third space and game creation as an approach to complexity design. An architect turned information architect, Andrea has twice served as president of the Information Architecture Institute, is a founding member of Architecta, the Italian Society for Information Architecture, and of World IA Day. He is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Information Architecture and the author of “Pervasive Information Architecture” (2011), “Reframing Information Architecture” (2014), and “Advances in Information Architecture.”
