Two days on mathematical modeling of disease evolution

These days are dedicated to the presentation of part of the work carried out within the project eINS – Ecosystem of Innovation for Next Generation Sardinia (ECS00000038), financed from National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Mission 4, Component 2, “From research to business”, Investment 1.5, “Creation and strengthening of innovation ecosystems” and construction of **Territorial R&D Leaders”.

Inside the Spoke 06 – Digital Transformation , and in particular of Task 7.2, the research group of mathematicians worked on analysis and implementation of mathematical models relating to temporal evolution of Alzheimer's disease and to tumor growth.

During these two days, the results obtained by the group of mathematicians from the University of Sassari will be presented, engaged in the study of mathematical models linked to diseases associated with the aging population.

There were two main lines of research:

• models for disease evolution and control Alzheimer's
• a model for the growth and diffusion of a tumor

The results will be presented by the researchers and collaborators who contributed to the project:
