XII OCSE Global Money Week (2024) Protect your Money, Secure your Future Alghero, at the Giuseppe Manno Classical and Scientific High School. 22 March 2024 from 10 am The Global Money Week is the annual event promoted by the OCSE with the aim of raising awareness among young people, from preschool age to university level, about the importance of acquiring the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to make financial decisions consistent with their needs and capabilities. Global Money Week is an event that fits into the broader framework of measures to combat financial illiteracy and promote financial education pursued by the OCSE globally.Since its inception in 2012, the event has reached over 50 million young people in 176 countries. Starting from 2021, EDUFIN, the Committee for the planning and coordination of financial education activities established within various institutions (MEF, MUR, MISE, Ministry of Labor, Bank of Italy, CONSOB, COVIP, IVASS, OCF, National Council of Consumers and Users) coordinates this initiative for Italy.The Department of Economics and Business Sciences (DiSEA), as it does every year, participates in and sponsors the initiative.After the institutional greetings from the Deputy Mayor of Alghero, the following speakers will intervene: Professor Monica Cossu, Professor of Commercial Law, Banking Law, and Financial Markets Law at the Department of Economic and Business Sciences (DiSEA), University of Sassari, on Crowdfunding and online trading.
