THE ENHANCEMENT OF DEMOETHNOANTHROPOLOGICAL HERITAGE. THE EXPERIENCE OF THE “GIOVANNI ANTONIO SANNA” NATIONAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM Toso Hall, 11 March 2026, 4.30 pm, Department of Humanistic and Social Sciences, Via Roma 151, Sassari 07100 The event, open to all, intends to stimulate a discussion around the concept of valorisation applied to the demo-ethno-anthropological heritage, focusing on conservation methods that particularly involve museum contexts. Among these, the National Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum "Giovanni Antonio Sanna" of Sassari, one of the most important in Sardinia, stands out - even nominally - for its dual characterization, hosting a collection of enormous archaeological and ethnographic interest, which will be discussed.

The speech by Dr. Cristiano Croci, demo-ethnoanthropologist (Regional Directorate of National Museums of Sardinia, Ministry of Culture), introduced by Prof. Franco Lai (University of Sassari), will be followed by the discussion requested by Prof. Anna Depalmas and Dr. Nicolò Atzori (University of Sassari).
