Pollination Ecology Strategies: The Floral Chemistry And Thermophysics In Aroid Pollination

Dr. Marc Gibernau, Senior Scientist at CNRS, UMR 6134 SPE and the University of Corsica in Ajaccio, and Visiting Professor at the Department of Chemical, Physical, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences, will give a seminar on strategies in pollination ecology, focusing on the case study of Araceae, which are capable of thermogenesis and produce complex compounds.

The event, recognized as a seminar activity for students of the Coastal Plant Biodiversity course (Master's Degree in Environmental and Territorial Management), is organized in collaboration with the Sardinian section of the Italian Botanical Society and is open to all University staff.
