Italy-Kosovo 1999-2024. Lest we forget. Roberto Bazzoni Scholarship

Wednesday november 12, 2025, at 11:00 am , at the Aula Magna of the UniOlbia Campus , the final event dedicated to the memory of will be held Antonio Sircana and Roberto Bazzoni , twenty-five years after their tragic death. The ceremony, culmination of an annual commemorative journey, will see the lectio magistralis of IF. Nita Shala , Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Italy.

During the event the Roberto Bazzoni Award , established to enhance civil commitment and international solidarity.

For the 2024/2025 academic year, the winner is Andrea Rodolfo Stragà, student of the Degree Course in Nursing at the University of Sassari. The scholarship, worth 1500 euros , is promoted by the company Orthotecnica Bazzoni of Olbia to honor the memory of the founding member, who passed away in Kosovo in 1999 during a volunteer action.

Andrea Rodolfo Stragà was selected based on the established merit criteria: enrolled in the second year, ha achieved 120 credits out of 120, obtaining the highest weighted average (28.85) among students who had achieved the maximum credits.

The Mayor of Olbia, Settimo Nizzi, remembered the "fallen of peace", underlining the value of humanitarian missions. The Municipal Administration invites citizens, institutions and students to participate in this moment of high civil and human value.
