I am a force of the past: Pasolini 50 years later

Cityplex Moderno (Sassari, Viale Umberto)
6pm

On the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Pier Paolo Pasolini the festival "Thoughts and words: books and films at Asinara" offers

I AM A FORCE FROM THE PAST

an evening at the MODERN CITYPLEX in Sassari which, by combining critical reflection and cinematic vision, intends to offer an opportunity for in-depth analysis of an author who was able to investigate the contradictions of his and our time with extraordinary clarity.

On Wednesday 29 October, at 6pm, Paolo Desogus, professor of contemporary Italian literature at the Sorbonne Université, will converse with Alessandro Cadoni starting from the volume "In defense of humanity: Pasolini between passion and ideology" (The Ship of Theseus). Following this, “La ricotta” (1963) and “The Gospel according to Matthew” (1964) will be screened. Entrance is free.

With the patronage of the Municipality of Sassari, the initiative takes place in collaboration with the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sassari with the support of the Sardinia Region, the Sardinia Foundation, Koinè bookshops and is part of the Modè - Moderno d'essai exhibition.
