Conference "Innovation and sustainability in agriculture"

On January 29th at 9:00, at the Department of Agriculture, the conference "Innovation and sustainability in agriculture. The INN-Pratica project and other innovative experiences in regional agriculture" will be held, an event of particular importance dedicated to two topics that are now essential for the future of the agricultural sector: innovation and sustainability. In a context marked by climate change, new economic and environmental challenges and the need to strengthen the competitiveness of the territories, the conference is proposed as a moment of reflection and strategic discussion.

The first part of the meeting will be dedicated to the main innovations in agriculture, with a focus on the experiences found within the INN-Pratica cross-border project, also oriented towards the creation of communities of practice as a fundamental tool for the diffusion of knowledge and innovation. Particular attention will be paid to the innovations detected in the Sardinia region, as concrete examples of the application of sustainable and innovative models.

In the second part, the Department of Agriculture will present activities, ongoing projects and future initiatives aimed at promoting and supporting innovation and sustainability in regional agriculture.

The last part of the conference will give space to the interventions of young regional agricultural entrepreneurs, who will bring direct testimonies of innovative experiences, underlining the contribution of the new generations in building a more sustainable, resilient and future-oriented agriculture.

The conference therefore represents an important opportunity for dialogue between research, institutions and the production world, encouraging the sharing of good practices and the construction of synergies useful for strengthening an agricultural model capable of combining innovation, sustainability and territorial development.
