"Knowing the economy to choose better" - Meeting with Elsa Fornero

Thursday  october 16, 2025, at 12:00, at the Aula A1 of the Department of Economic and Business Sciences of the University of Sassari , a meeting will be held with Elsa Fornero , Economist, former Minister of Labor and Social Policies and Coaching Policies, together with Anna Lo Prete, del Volume " Know the economy to choose better "(Il Mulino, 2024).

The event is part of the national calendar of Month of financial education 2025, initiative promoted by the Edfin Committee to spread the economic and financial culture among citizens, with particular attention to the younger generations.

The meeting will be an opportunity to reflect on the role of economic-financial education basic in the construction of the personal and social well -being , starting from the topics covered in the book: awareness in consumer and savings choices, the relationship between economy and quality of life, the importance of economic skills in contemporary society.

The initiative is open to students , teachers , professionals and citizens interested in better understanding how knowledge of the economy can encourage more aware decisions, both individual and collective.
