Obiettivi formativi

To teach to apply basic techniques in wildlife management related to age class determination, reproduction study, census methodologies, capture methodologies with special reference to large mammals

Contenuti

The techniques that will be taught include:
Age and body condition assessment in large mammals with special reference to ungulates
Diet analyses and reproductive status assessment in mammals
Census methods for mammals in practice
Capture methods for large mammals

There will be no formal textbook, the lessons will come from personal experience of the teacher and a group of selected wildlife manager
