The CRITISS Research Center inaugurated

On Friday 7 May, at the Department of History, Human Sciences and Education in the Humanities Center of the University of Sassari, the CRITISS, Research Center in Theory of Ideology, of the Subject and of Subalternity, was presented and inaugurated. By placing different humanistic disciplines and different approaches in dialogue, the Center intends to address issues of historical, philosophical, anthropological and artistic relevance strongly connected to the dynamics of a plural, polycentric and diversified reality and world.

The objectives of the CRITISS were outlined by Professor Sebastiano Ghisu, who then passed the floor to the coordinators of the Center's four research lines: doctoral students, doctoral students and researchers who - in outlining the specificities of each direction - focused on critical issues and possible directions of study: Stefania Monti and Giorgia Maria Sanna therefore focused respectively on the Critical History of Philosophy and Gender Studies; Mirko Muzzu and Cristian Perra on Postcolonial Studies, and Gianpaolo Cherchi on Theories of the Subject.

Finally, the center website , and Professor Rosanna Morace (deputy director) closed the meeting, insisting on the social and civil value of the interdisciplinary proposal that CRITISS is launching.
