Contest “Waves of Change” - EUNICoast project

The University of Sassari, as part of the EUNICoast Project – the European University of Islands, Ports and Coastal Territories – is launching the Alliance’s first Contest, entitled “Waves of Change”.

Participation is free and open to all students enrolled for the 2025/2026 academic year at the following EUNICoast partner universities:

  • UNISS - University of Sassari, Italy;
  • BFU - Free University of Burgas, Bulgaria;
  • UIB - University of the Balearic Islands, Spain;
  • HOST - Stralsund University of Applied Sciences, Germany;
  • ZUT - West Pomeranian University of Applied Sciences, Poland;
  • UPatras - University of Patras, Greece;
  • ULHN - University of Le Havre Normandy, France.

Each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of one entry for each of the following categories: 1) visual works (photography, illustration, or comics), and 2) audiovisual works (video or music).

The competition will close on 31 July 2026 at 23:59 CET.

The results of the competition will be communicated to participants by email by 15 September 2026.

On 21 September 2026, during the opening ceremony of the 1st EUNICoast Student Festival at the University of Sassari, the winners of the competition will be announced.

All works submitted (whether awarded a prize or not) may be used by UNISS for communication campaigns and may be published on the website www.uniss.it and on the university’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube). UNISS, as the Data Controller responsible for the management of personal data and copyright of the works, may share the works, solely for the purposes indicated in this Call, with the EUNICoast Alliance and the project’s partner universities, which, in turn, may use them for promotional and dissemination purposes on the official website www.eunicoast.eu, on the institutional websites of the partner universities, as well as on the social media channels Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
