New department directors take office on November 1st

As of November 1st, the directors of the university’s 12 departments have officially taken office. Some are new appointments, while others are reappointments.

Among the new directors are Fabio Bacchini (Architecture, Design, and Urban Planning), Enrico Grosso (Engineering), Lucia Giovanelli (Innovation), Vincenzo Carcangiu (Veterinary Medicine), Lidia Vera Giovanna Deluca (Chemical, Physical, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences), and Manuela Pulina (DISEA – Economic and Business Sciences).

Reappointed directors include Ignazio Floris (Agriculture), Angela Spanu (Medicine, Surgery, and Pharmacy), Franca Deriu (Biomedical Sciences), Lucia Cardone (Humanities and Social Sciences), and Piergiorgio Ignazio Spanu (History, Human Sciences, and Education).

Rounding out the group is Michele Comenale Pinto (Law), whose term has not yet expired.
