The University of Sassari has been engaged for many years in international cooperation activities through research, training and development projects carried out in collaboration with universities, institutions, organizations and communities from numerous partner countries. Of particular importance are the initiatives supported by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia within the scope of Regional Law 19/1996, which have contributed to consolidating the role of the University in promoting sustainable development, the transfer of knowledge and cooperation between territories. The "UNISS in the world" event was created to enhance these experiences, encourage the sharing of the results achieved and strengthen the visibility of the University's international cooperation activities.
