Notice of competition for admission to the 41st cycle of PhD courses

The personal data transmitted by candidates with the application to participate in the selection will be processed, stored and archived by the University of Sassari and the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, for operational, administrative-accounting and/or other obligations related to the management of this procedure and for obligations related to legal obligations and the start of their university career.

The provision of such data is mandatory for the purposes of evaluating the participation requirements, under penalty of exclusion from the competition procedure.

The data controllers are the University of Sassari and the Autonomous Region of Sardinia which guarantee interested parties, pursuant to articles. 15-18 of the aforementioned Regulation (EU) 2016/679 the right to access, rectify and delete personal data transmitted in accordance with the methods established by the Regulation (EU). Candidates are granted the rights to access their personal data, to request rectification and integration as well as obtain the limitation of processing, by directing requests to the University of Sassari. The Sardinia Region is the owner of the processing of personal data pursuant to Article 24 of the GDPR in reference to the monitoring, verification and control activities envisaged by the agreement, by the Manual of Procedures of the Management Authority for use by those responsible for activation version 1.0 P. R. FSE+ SARDINIA 2021-2027), from the Management and Control System (SI. GE. CO.) of the PR FSE+ 2021-2027 Version 2.0, as well as from the Methodological Document for risk assessment for management checks, Version 2.0.

NOTICE FOR STUDENTS WITHOUT SCHOLARSHIPS: Successful candidates who have been awarded a place without a scholarship, after completing their online enrolment, should NOT pay the fees but should notify the Ufficio Alta Formazione by email that they have completed their enrolment. Once the Office has uploaded the necessary exemption for the recalculation of fees, the interested parties will be notified so that they can proceed with the payment of enrolment fees.

NOTICE FOR SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WITH SCHOLARSHIPS WHO INTEND TO WAIVE THE SCHOLARSHIP BUT RETAIN THE PLACE: Candidates who have been awarded a place with a scholarship and are interested in renouncing the scholarship but keeping their place must send an email to the Ufficio Alta Formazione to request the upload of the €16.00 stamp duty required to send the renunciation request. Once payment has been made, they must download, complete and send the form on this page. The Office will then update the amount of the enrolment fees and the candidate will be able to make the payment. Please note that, in these cases, the activation of a position without a scholarship is subject to the provisions of Article 10 of the competition notice. Therefore, anyone interested in activating a position without a scholarship is advised to contact the Ufficio Alta Formazione before paying the stamp duty.

Enrolment in the PhD Course in Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods must be formalised by Thursday, 29^th January 2026.

Enrolment in the PhD Course in Scienze Agrarie must be formalised by Thursday, 29^th January 2026.

Enrolment in the PhD Course in Life Sciences and Biotechnologies must be formalised by Tuesday, 3^rd February 2026.

Enrolment in the PhD programme in Culture, Literature, Rights, Tourism and Territory must be formalised by Friday, 6^th February 2026.
