Adaptive forest management through the quantification and optimization of multiple forest functions and Ecosystem Services with CAFE DSS

Prof Antonio Del Campo will provide a general and conceptual introduction to adaptive silviculture and the importance of quantifying ecosystem services. Dr Javier Pérez Romero will show how the cafe? decision support system works on doing and optimizing it. Dr Ariadna Garci?a Gine?s will show a case study of the use of the C.A.F.E model in the silvopastoral system of the Argan in Morocco.

The seminar will be delivered in the context of the PRIMA SALAM MED project.
