Ovarian cancer: "Tiffany's Light" day

For May 8, World Ovarian Cancer Day, the University of Sassari joins the event Italy lights up with Tiffany, projecting the   color symbol of awareness of this pathology on the historic building in Piazza Università.
The initiative aims to draw public attention to ovarian cancer, one of the most insidious gynecological neoplasms, often diagnosed at an advanced stage due to the poor specificity of the symptoms. Through this symbolic gesture we intend to promote knowledge, the importance of early diagnosis and support for patients and their families.
