University Sports Festival 2024

SASSARI. As happened in January for the 2023 edition, also for the 2024 University Sports festival, those who participated in the various activities proposed by the CUS Sassari at both a local and national level will be gathered in the university sports facilities of San Giovanni. The evening will start from 3pm.

The President of the CUS Nicola Giordanelli, the Rector of the Turritano University Gavino Mariotti will be present, as well as the various Academic, city and sports authorities of the area, who will reward all the protagonists of the university sports season, with the four medals won by our athletes at the National University Championships of Campobasso.

Before the party, the finals of the Uniss CUP and the Conference CUP will be held, in a Uniss 11-a-side football cup that always offers a lot of entertainment on the pitch and in the stands. At the end of the matches, prizes will also be awarded to the winners of the many tournaments organized by the Sassari University Centre, included in the Uniss Cup circuit: padel, tennis and, indeed, 11-a-side football.

All tournaments had a notable number of participants and involved numerous students from the University of Sassari. The event will start at 3.00 pm with the final of the Conference Cup and then followed by the various awards ceremonies. The final event, however, will start from 7.30pm.
