Prevention of colorectal cancer

On 1 April 2024, the University of Sassari will host the first of a series of meetings on cancer prevention in the main hall of the Faculty of Medicine's Recommendation Structure.

This first meeting will deal with the prevention of colorectal cancer and will host various interventions on the topic: Colon cancer, from surgery to recovery; Colorectal cancer, from experimental research to clinical practice; Nutritional deficiency and immuno-nutrition of patients suffering from colorectal cancer who are candidates for surgery; Colorectal cancer, vitrual colonoscopy as a screening method; Surgical aspects of colorectal cancer; Oncology in the treatment of colon cancer; The psycho-oncology of colon cancer.

The day will be opened by institutional greetings, first of all that of the Magnificent Rector Gavino Mariotti, and will end with the final speeches of the guests.
