Nassiriyah, dall'attentato alla ricerca della verità

On 9 April 2024 the Aula Magna of the University of Sassari will host the presentation of the book "Nasiriyah - From the attack to the search for truth" written by Army Corps General Carmelo Burgio.

awarded, among other honours, the Gold Cross of Merit of the Carabinieri, he was Commander of the Multinational Specialized Unit Regiment in Iraq. For this reason he is, as reported in the presentation of the volume, a qualified and direct witness to that tragic event.
